Aashna: Aerial Fitness, Flexibility, Balance
Meet Your Teacher:
An architect by the week and aerial hoop instructor by the weekend, Aashna has been practicing yoga since over 10 years and has been an acrobat and a cheer leader in her college years.
Her daily practice involves a bit of meditation, free body strengthening workouts and extensive stretches.
She believes in, and teaches a balance of strength and flexibility.
About Her Practice:
Aashna has been teaching aerial hoop for 4 years in Mumbai and has taught for 2 years in the States as well.
She also takes regular classes at some of the leading studios across the city.
About Her Classes:
Classes are designed for all levels of practitioners.
She tracks her students progress via photos and goals that they set together in class making them fun and challenging.
Flex & Stretch:
This class begins with full body strengthening, that includes a variety of exercises for all muscle groups. The second half of the class focusses on stretching releasing any tightness, giving the entire body an efficient workout.
Abs & Splits:
This class targets strengthening the core and focuses on forward and middle split progressions. To manage full splits we work our way up, (rather down :D) by pushing limits in complimentary stretches that prepare us for the split.
Aashna Offers Both Group & Private Classes
Duration: 40 minutes per class
Flex & Stretch: Mon, Wed, Fri at 6pm
Abs & Splits: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat at 5pm
Private classes are scheduled as per convenience & availability.
